On Environmental Day, I took part in a meaningful initiative by planting numerous saplings alongside the principal, teachers, and my colleagues. I also had the honor of initiating the event and delivering a heartfelt address to the students, emphasizing the significance of preserving nature for our planet's well-being.

It's a day of reflection, inspiration, and honoring the dedication and hard work of our teachers in nurturing future generations.

 

PONGAL CELEBRATION

Pongal, celebrated on January 15th, 2024, is a vibrant and joyous festival that holds great cultural significance in South India, especially in Tamil Nadu. It marks the harvest season and is a time of thanksgiving to nature, farmers, and the sun god. The festival is characterized by colorful rangolis, traditional dances like Kolam, and the preparation of delicious Pongal dishes. Families come together to offer prayers, exchange gifts, and enjoy festive meals. It's a time of unity, abundance, and festive cheer for all.

On November 14, 2023, my school hosted a vibrant youth festival, showcasing the talents and creativity of students in various cultural and artistic activities. Additionally, we celebrated Children's Day with great enthusiasm, organizing fun-filled events, games, and activities to bring joy to all the young learners. It was a day of celebration, laughter, and cherishing the spirit of childhood and youthfulness.

STUDENTS MOVIE TIME

On December 8, 2023, our school hosted a special students' movie time featuring the captivating film "Pan's Labyrinth." This event provided students with an immersive cinematic experience and an opportunity to appreciate storytelling and filmmaking. "Pan's Labyrinth" is known for its fantastical elements and thought-provoking narrative, making it an engaging choice for students to enjoy and discuss. The movie time was a memorable and enriching experience for all who attended.

 

SCIENCE PRACTICAL SESSION

On January 12, 2024, our science practical session was an illuminating experience led by Mrs. Mary Stella, our guide teacher in class 7. She demonstrated fascinating experiments, including Newton's string experiment, which showcased the principles of tension and motion. Additionally, Mrs. Stella mesmerized us with a demonstration on the dispersion of light using a prism, revealing the spectrum of colors known as VIBGYOR. Her engaging teaching style and hands-on approach enriched our understanding of these scientific concepts, leaving a lasting impression on our minds. It was a day of exploration, discovery, and learning that ignited our curiosity for the wonders of science.

On September 12 and 13, 2023, Bharatiya University in Coimbatore hosted an exhilarating Sports Day filled with excitement and camaraderie. Students from various departments and disciplines showcased their athletic talents in a range of sports and games, including track and field events, team sports like football and basketball, and traditional games. The event fostered a spirit of healthy competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship among participants, creating a memorable and energizing atmosphere on campus.

We reminisced about our time together, shared laughter, and bonded over shared experiences. There were various activities throughout the day, such as a Christmas play depicting the nativity story, art and craft sessions to make decorations, and a visit from Santa Claus who distributed gifts and sweets to everyone.
